For the fifth year in a row, Paul Revere and the Raiders were in Washington D. C. over the Memorial Day weekend where they performed a free musical tribute to veterans. They were joined at the Lincoln Memorial by special guest Nancy Sinatra as well as musicians Gordon Painter and Homeland.
The musical tribute brought a very fitting close to a busy day that started with a very visible demonstration of 400,000 motorcycles riding through the city, bringing attention to the POW/MIA issue. The afternoon included remarks from US Air Force General Richard B. Meyers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfield
Plan to join us Sunday, May 28, 2006 as we once again perform a musical tribute to America’s heroes – our veterans. |
